Our Story

How Shingle Saver Got Its Start

Six years ago, Scott and Kristie Dugan decided they were done watching homeowners get taken advantage of. Tampa Bay is a busy market, and after a storm rolls through, the roofers come out of the woodwork fast. Too often, homeowners were getting pushed into expensive full replacements they didn’t actually need.

So we built something different. Shingle Saver started with a simple idea, and that was to give homeowners honest options. When we found Roof Maxx, a safe, all-natural treatment that can add years of life to aging shingles, it became the cornerstone of the business. Suddenly, there was a real alternative to tell people about.

Today, Shingle Saver handles everything from a single cracked shingle to full roof replacements across the Tampa Bay area. The business has grown, but the approach hasn’t changed: show up, be straight with people, and do the job right.
